  • Note by J. Longino: 2w/w,m. aterrima syntypes? Like a completely hairless acuta. There is suberect whitish pubescence on scapes. A few erect setae on head, and none elsewhere. Short remnants of setae that typically project from rear margins of petiole and postpetiole. Head and mesosoma, petiole and postpetiole uniformly punctate, except for small shiny areas on posterior face of propodeum and dorsal face of petiole. Oveall shape equals acuta. Clypeus with strong, dense, longitudinal rugae which converge anteromedially. Antennal club tending more toward 2 segments, rather than 3 as in acuta.. Note by J. Longino: Label: Jalapa 908. Cotypus.
