  • NOTEBY J.Longino: Night collecting in low woodland, large mesquite with dense undergrowth. Colony in small tree (Bumelia?), aggregations of workers in small knots and dead sections of trunk. In one knot, there was carton construction covering the front, much as in brevispinosa group on fenceposts in Costa Rica. A dead stick protruding from the knot contained small brood.
