Walked up lime-kiln trail from Tomahawk drive to Shoreline trail, collecting ants on trail, 7:30pm-8pm. There was a heavy rain the day before; many ants had reproductive flights. Queens of parasitic Lasius abundant, running rapidly on trail. A nuptial flight of Solenopsis molesta. A Forelius colony in process of emigration.
