  • NOTEBY J.Longino: Eciton: A thin column was running under the house. Crematogaster cf. sumichrasti and Pheidole: I put 15 honey-crisco baits along the trail to the water tank. The trail is from the clearing edge into moderately disturbed forest. Two baits attracted a mix of Crematogaster sumichrasti and small Pheidole minor workers. Another two baits attracted large numbers of C. sumichrasti alone. The remaining baits were unoccupied after 1hr. Other ants: general collecting off ground and vegetation.
