[Note. The names Tetramorium cariniceps, Tetramorium kollari and Tetramorium reticulata had previously been incorrectly synonymised with Tetramorium guineensis Fabricius, 1793 PDF by Roger, 1862c PDF: 293; Tetramorium modesta (Smith, 1860) was wrongly synonymised with Tetramorium guineensis by Donisthorpe, 1932c PDF: 463.].
