Primary type locality: Colombia: Cundinamarca, Medina, Gazaunta river, Cristalina creek, 1750 m., 8.iii.1997 (F. Escobar). Primary type depository: IAVH. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 12 paratype workers, 3 paratype queens, 2 paratype males. Secondary type localities: 9 paratype workers, 3 paratype queens, 2 paratype males with same data as holotype, 3 paratype workers Cundinamarca, Medina, Farallones de Medina, 1800 m., 1.vi.1996 (G.
