Natural History:

This species occurs in open areas in the seasonally dry habitats. It occurs along roadsides, and in scrubby xeric habitats in Santa Rosa National Park (e.g., ridge above Playa Naranjo) and Palo Verde. It is a generalist forager, and comes to tuna baits.
