Type-locality: Namibia: Namib Desert, Ganab, 23°08’S, 15°37’E, 10.vi.1982, sample G 339 (A.C. Marsh). Type-depository: BMNH. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 17 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: 11 paratype workers with same data as holotype, 6 paratype workers Namib Desert, Tsondab Vlei, 23°55’S, 15°22’E, 4.iv.1982, sample T6 (A.C. Marsh).
