Primary type locality: lectotype Taiwan (“Formosa”): Musha, no. 719 (K. Sato). Primary type depository: NHMB. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 1 paralectotype worker. Secondary type locality: same as for lectotype. Secondary type depository: NHMB. Type notes: Other original syntype locality: 5 workers, 2 queens Japan: Hokkaido, Tokiawe (C.
