Type-locality: Japan: Saitama Pref., Toda-shi, 3.ix.1993 (M. Terayama). Type-depository: MNHA. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 52 paratype workers, 7 paratype queens, 2 paratype males. Paratype-localities: 24 paratype workers, 3 paratype queens, 1 paratype male with same data as holotype, 14 paratype workers Chiba Pref., Chiba-shi, 13.vii.1992 (M.
