Taxonomic history

[First available use of Crematogaster auberti jehovae mosis Forel, 1907; unavailable (infrasubspecific) name.]
As unavailable (infrasubspecific) name: Emery, 1912e: 661; Emery, 1922c PDF: 142; Emery, 1926 PDF: 3.
[Note: Collingwood & Agosti, 1996 PDF: 331, ascribe Crematogaster mosis to Emery, 1869a PDF: 35, and raise it to species rank. There is no Emery entry at this reference, but Emery, 1869a PDF: 135, describes Crematogaster laestrygon (again without mention of Crematogaster mosis); therefore the apparent attribution of Crematogaster mosis to Emery, and its elevation to species-rank, is incorrect and is ignored.]
Status as species: Collingwood et al., 2011 PDF: 426; Tohmé & Tohmé, 2014 PDF: 135.
