Primary type information: Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Kempf, 1968b PDF: 395). Type-locality: lectotype Brazil: Santa Catarina (Hetschko). Type-depository: NHMW. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 5 paralectotype workers. Paratype-locality: same as for lectotype. Paratype-depository: NHMW.
