Primary type information: Primary type material: lectotype minor worker (by designation of Rakotonirina & Fisher, 2022 10.3897/zookeys.1098.73223 PDF: 83). Primary type locality: lectotype Madagascar: Andrangoloaka (Sikora). Primary type depository: MHNG. Primary type specimen: CASENT0101513 (lectotype). Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 1 paralectotype minor worker, 1 paralectotype alate queen. Secondary type locality: same as for lectotype. Secondary type depository: MHNG. Secondary type specimens: CASENT0101528, CASENT0101537. (Source: Rakotonirina & Fisher, 2022 10.3897/zookeys.1098.73223 PDF: 83.) Type notes: Rakotonirina & Fisher, 2022 10.3897/zookeys.1098.73223 PDF: 83, mention a syntype alate queen, now a paralectotype. However, the species was originally described only from the worker caste and no mention is made of a queen. The original locality data given is Imerină (Rév. Père Camboué, M. Sikora).
