Type-locality: Venzuela: Miranda State, Rio Capaya at Quebrada El Bagre, nr Salmerón, E Caracas, 200 m., 8.ii.1982, #238, beneath log on forest floor, limestone gorge (J. Lattke). Type-depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 14 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: 9 paratype workers with same data as holotype, 1 paratype worker Venezuela: Falcón State, Sierra de San Luis, Haitoncitos, nr Curimagua, 1180 m., 3.viii.1982, #271, primary forest (J. Lattke), 1 paratype worker Venezuela: Argua State, Rancho Grande, 15.vi.1960, 4563a (J. Ojasti), 1 paratype worker as last but 1100 m., 14.viii.1967 (R.W.
