Primary type information: Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Prebus, 2021b 10.7717/peerj.11514 PDF: 448). Type-locality: lectotype U.S.A.: Texas, Travis County, McNeil, 22.ii.1902, co-type A.M.N.H., M.C.Z. Type 21038 (W.M. Wheeler). Type-depository: MCZC. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 14 paratype workers, 1 paratype dealate queen.
