Type-locality: China: Yunnan, Mengla County, Bubang Village, 730 m., 17.viii.1997, no. A97-2064, nest in soil, seasonal rainforest (G. Zeng). Type-depositories: SFCY. Secondary type information: Paratype-material: 52 paratype workers. Paratype-locality: 34 paratype workers with same data as holotype, 18 paratype workers Yunnan, Mengla County, Longlin Village, 1040 m., 14.iii.1998, no. A98-775 (G. Zeng).
