Cette espece ressemble a l' A. veloxHNS, mais elle est plus svelte, moins dimorphe, plus luisante et a le thorax tres peu voute et presque sans etranglement. J'en ai decouvert aux Antilles une race qui est la premiere AztecaHNS trouvee dans ces iles (sauf Trinidad, qui a la faune continentale de l'Orenoque).
