  • Spongiform or lamellate outgrowths absent on petiole, except for a thin anterior carina ventrally on petiole. There are small lamellate outgrowths on postpetiole sternite. On postpetiole disc (dorsum) it is very reduced posteriorly and absent anteriorly;

  • Dorsum of petiole node shallowly reticulated, postpetiole disc smooth with superimposed fine longitudinal striae;

  • Propodeal lamella very thin, its upper portion forming a minute tooth and its lower portion slightly expanded in a lobe;

  • Sides of mesosoma reticulate, except for a smooth patches on katepisternum, anepisternum and metapleura. There are superimposed fine transversal striae on katepisternum;

  • A pair of long and flexuous stading setae on pronotal humeral corners. Similar setae on mesoscutum.

This morphospecies is very similar to Strumigenys ufv-63.
