Longino, 1 Mar 2014: This species was described from St. Vincent in the Lesser Antilles and may be a somewhat weedy species in the Caribbean, and possibly introduced in Florida. AntWeb images and material I have from Puerto Rico suggests it is something like zeteki. Pacheco and Mackay 2013 identify material from throughout the Neotropics, including multiple collections from leaf litter samples from Costa Rica. Undoubtedly their concept of corticalis does not match mine.
