Distribution Notes:

Apomarma, Messara Basin, Crete, Greece; Varvara Formation, Late Miocene, Messinian (5.3-7.2 Ma).

Taxonomic Notes:

Bolton, pers. obs.: gender of Polyrhachis is feminine, hence species epithet to agree with it must be annosa, not annosus.
