Identification:

Minor worker: head length 0.91mm, head width 0.66mm, scape length 1.40mm, Webers length 1.30mm (n=1). Head elongate behind, with well developed vertex collar; promesonotal and metanotal grooves well impressed; propodeal spines absent; face, pronotum, and first gastral tergum smooth and shining; katepisternum and propodeum weakly foveolate; pilosity erect, abundant, of moderate length; color orange.

cf. Pheidole lattkei, P. leonina. Both lattkei and leonina with more constricted neck, more developed nuchal collar; both with more developed transverse suture marking juncture of dorsal and posterior faces of propodeum; lattkei with much shorter, more even pilosity on scapes.
