Geographic regions (According to curated Geolocale/Taxon lists):
    Americas: Honduras
Biogeographic regions (According to curated Bioregion/Taxon lists):

J. Longino, 25 Apr 2014: Very similar to P. orbica in the Antilles. Pheidole albipes and P. ceibana are very similar morphologically. They appear to be a parapatric species pair across the Motagua fault. DNA barcoding supports the split. Pheidole albipes minor workers have brown coxae, contrasting with the ivory femur. Pheidole ceibana has lighter colored coxae that do not contrast strongly with the femora.
