Distribution Notes:

Vishnevaya Balka near Stavropol, Central North Caucasus, Russia; Karagan Horizon, middle Miocene (11-16 Ma). Also found from marine carbonaceous shale of Crimean Peninsula dated as Late Miocene (= Sarmatian, 12.7 - 11.6 Ma). 

Comments:

Holotype PIN 224/213 in Paleontological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia.
