Identification:

Face crossed by a clearly defined arcuate carina; anterior portion of face concave, differentiated from posterior portion, delimited by frontal carinae and facial arc; antennal scrobe deep and conspicuous with distinct posterior and ventral margins; face anterior to facial arc uniformly densely punctate; posterior margin of vertex lacking erect setae; facial arc joins dorsal margin of scrobe posterior to eye; eye composed of > 5 ommatidia.
