Comments:

J. Longino, 14 July 2023: preliminary UCE results for 3 specimens of mashpi and 1 specimen of laevigatus, mashpi is paraphyletic with respect to laevigatus.

Specimen Habitat Summary

Found most commonly in these habitats: 3 times found in montane wet forest, 3 times found in rainforest, 1 times found in mature rainforest, 1 times found in wet forest edge, 1 times found in tropical rainforest, with big trees, probably primary, 1 times found in Andean cloud forest, mountain tropical forest, 1 times found in montane wet forest edge.

Found most commonly in these microhabitats: 1 times aggregation in duff, 1 times column with termite prey, 1 times underground nest, 1 times in road, 1 times ex sifted leaf litter, 1 times column on forest floor.
