* Monomorium monomorium BoltonHNS

Wilson and Taylor (1967) mention the presence of this Old World species (as M. minutum MayrHNS) from Brazil. However, I know of no confirmed records in the literature. It has also been recorded from Barbados (Kempf, 1972).
