Distribution Notes:

Sicilian amber, Italy; exact age unknown between late Eocene, Oligocene, and middle Miocene (14 to 34 Ma; see Ragazzi & Roghi, 2014).

Identification:

Emery, 1891a: 152, pl. 2, fig. 22 (m.), in Leptomyrmex.

Comments:

Holotype (and unique specimen) 16618 supposedly in Museo di Mineralogia Luigi Bombicci, Universita di Bologna, Italy, but may be lost.
