Palearctic Region: Eastern Europe, Europe, Germany, Kaliningrad, Lower Saxony, Russia, Western Europe

Distribution Notes:

Baltic, Ukraine (Rovno), and Saxonian amber; Middle Eocene to Late Oligocene (34-42 Ma).

Comments:

Types NHMW 1984/34/141, 1984/34/142, 1984/34/143, in Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna, Austria. Two of Wheeler's specimens in MCZC (PALE-4514 and PALE-18977), belonging to Klebs collection of the GZG, Göttingen, Germany. Many other specimens in Museum fur Naturkunde Berlin and GZG Gottingen, Germany; in Museum Ziemi PAN, Warsaw, Poland; in Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, Kiev, Ukraine; in Zoological Museum of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark; in British Natural History Museum, London.
