Primary type locality: Malaysia: Sabah, Umas Umas, nr Tawau (04°16’N, 117°54’E), 12-13.iv.1968, RWT accs 68.626, 627, berlesate, rainforest leaf mould (R.W. Taylor). Primary type depository: ANIC. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 12 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens. Secondary type localities: 7 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens with same data as holotype, 4 paratype workers Sabah, Lungmanis, mile 45 Labuk Road, ex Sandakan,, RWT accs 68.475, 502 (R.W.
