Extant: 8 valid subspecies

Crematogaster stadelmanni Mayr, 1895 PDF: 140 (w.q.) LIBERIA. Afrotropic. Primary type information: Type-material: 1 syntype worker, 1 syntype queen. Type-locality: Liberia: (no further data). Type-depository: NHMW (perhaps in MNHU). Type notes: Mayr says the material came from “Berliner Museum”, but does not indicate if it was returned there. AntCat AntWiki HOL
