Distribution:

Neotropical Region: Americas, Central America, Costa Rica, Limón

Distribution Notes:

This species has only been collected from two localities, both in Costa Rica (Alajuela and Estrella Valley [type locality]).

Biology:

The type series was collected by W. M. Mann in 1924, in Valle de Estrella. Mann was probably collecting in lowland rainforest near the extensive banana plantations at Valle de Estrella.
