Primary type information: Primary type material: lectotype worker (by designation of Ortiz-Sepúlveda et al., 2019 10.1007/s13127-019-00406-2 PDF: 491). Primary type locality: lectotype U.S.A.: District of Columbia, Georgetown College, 10.viii.1885 (T. Pergande) (by restriction of Creighton, 1950a PDF: 359). Primary type depository: MSNG. Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 36 paralectotype workers, 1 paralectotype queen, 10 paralectotype males. Secondary type locality: same as for lectotype.
