Primary type locality: Japan: Ogasawara Is, Hahajma, Sekimon, 12.vii.1990 [colony 90041] (H. Watanabe). Primary type depository: none stated (probably NIAS, OIST, SKYC, possibly also KUIC, MNHA, UTKC). Secondary type information: Secondary type material: 107 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen, 15 paratype males. Secondary type locality: same as for holotype.
