Contents:

Senegal lies between the Sahara desert and the rich Guinean forests. The Senegambian fauna, then, is rich and very diverse, but with less than one hundred cited species, it remains clearly undersampled.

Current sampling efforts will increase this number in the near future.



 


 


 

With a sacred Ceiba (Ceiba pentandra) a the Dindefelo reserve, Southeast Senegal, close to the Guinean border.
