GPS coordinates estimated in Google Earth and corresponding roughly to the city of Mineral del Monte. The max error is a conservative estimate. Label says only: "El Chico, Hidalgo, Mexico; Coll. By W.M.Mann". Most data from Wheeler (1914), which says about the locality and habitat: "nesting under large stones in a damp spot in the pine forest on the trail between Real del Monte and El Chico at the summit of the range (10,000 to 11,000 ft.). It also metions three sites at the beginning of the paper that are nearby this collection: Pachuca, Guerrero Mill, and San Miguel. Lastly, it states at the beginning that the collections were made in Spring-Summer of 1913. This is the type locality for Stenamma manni.
