Found most commonly in these habitats: 3 times found in grassland, 1 times found in Acacia Closed Woodland (in Sekhukhune Plains Bushveld), 2 times found in Lydenburgia - Euclea Open Woodland (in Sekhukhune Mountain Bushveld), 1 times found in 2∞ wet forest, 1 times found in Equatorial rainforest, 1 times found in intensively used sugar cane, 1 times found in Sclerocarya - Bolusanthus Open Woodland (in Sekhukhune Mountain Bushveld).

Found most commonly in these microhabitats: 1 times stray workers, 1 times nest in bare soil of glade, 1 times leaf litter, 1 times Kakamega 2007 survey, leaf litter.
