known from some caribbean islands and inland from Mexico to Suriname. No known localities in Guyana, but it is known from Suriname ( Tambahredjo; Sidoredjo; Dirkshoop; and La Poulle from Kugler 1994).
This species has been collected from Berlese samples in tropical rain forest, successional forest, and dry tropical forest, below 500 m elevation.
Found most commonly in these habitats: 1 times found in secondgrowth dry forest, 1 times found in cacao plantation, 1 times found in mature wet forest, 1 times found in scrub, 1 times found in Zona de Transición, 1 times found in 1� forest, 1 times found in Anidando en trozo pequeño de rama podrida, 1 times found in dry forest, 1 times found in rainforest.
Found most commonly in these microhabitats: 4 times ex sifted leaf litter, 1 times tall forest, high leaf litter decomposition, 1 times ex sifted litter.
Collected most commonly using these methods: 4 times Winkler, 1 times miniWinkler, 1 times Aspirador, 1 times Aspirador; forrajeando entre la hojarasca, 1 times litter sample.
Elevations: collected from 20 - 514 meters, 128 meters average
