Biology:

This species occurs in cloud forest. It is most often collected at baits and in Winkler samples. Longino observed a nest entrance (colln JTL6951): road edge in mature cloud forest; nearly vertical clay bank; tiny circular hole on bank with tongue-shaped apron of clay extending below hole; apron covered with white fungal dots (see images); a few workers out on surface around hole; one of workers observed picking up one of the fungal dots; I excavated about 10cm back into bank and did not find any chambers.
