Distribution:

collected from the Chiricahua Mtns, Cochise Co.

Biology:

Mesic and wet-mesic prairie and adjacent pasture and old field; host F. montana.

Notes:

This species is quite distinct in morphology and host array from the next species, and though both are currently considered part of P. breviceps, this one matches the types from Breckenridge, Colorado.
