Found most commonly in these habitats: 1 times found in in a soggy stick, 1 times found in along trail to waterfall, 1 times found in a lot of T. albipes, but no A. gracilipes, 1 times found in Pheidole nest in decaying coconut palm frond on ground. Other ants incidental nearby, 1 times found in just inside forest from last site; davis-sifting + incidentals, 1hr., 1 times found in #2 - - in a saddle, moister than last site, ~1hr collection, 2 times found in upland forest litter, SE edge of swamp forest, 1 times found in old growth beginning of zone UP2H; Camponotus maculates-group nest same stick in trail, as T. albipes nest, lots of T. albipes, 1 times found in Waterfall trail, Incidental -yellow crazy ants from under log right at border of forest and savannah, 3 times found in Rainforest, ...

Found most commonly in these microhabitats: 6 times 1 square meter of sifted leaf litter, 1 times in a soggy stick, 1 times along trail to waterfall, 1 times Pheidole nest in decaying coconut palm frond on ground. Other ants incidental nearby, 1 times a lot of T. albipes, but no A. gracilipes, 4 times leaf litter (1 sq meter), 1 times #2 - - in a saddle, moister than last site, ~1hr collection, 1 times rock island with big lake in middle, 1 times old growth beginning of zone UP2H; Camponotus maculates-group nest same stick in trail, as T. albipes nest, lots of T. albipes, 1 times some big Phicus trees around, good leaf litter; some birds nest ferns not very strongly agroforest, but a few breadfruit trees around, 1 times ridge top, still lots of Anoplolepis, ...

Collected most commonly using these methods: 27 times Davis sifting>hand collected|aspirator, 8 times hand collected|aspirator, 6 times hand collected, 6 times Winkler, 4 times Davis sifting>hand collected|aspirator>bait trap|peanut butter, 1 times Davis sifting, 1 times Berlesate.

Elevations: collected from 60 - 500 meters, 225 meters average
