[Note: Brandão gives bauri as senior synonym, but unispinosa has priority.].
Unidentifiable taxon; incertae sedis in Odontomachus: Bolton, 1995b: 297.
[Note: Latreille, 1802a: 194, suspected that, “cette fourmi n’est que le mulet de l’haematode de Linnée, ou une variété”. Brown, 1976a: 102, suggests possible synonymy with bauri.].
