[Note: Wheeler, and Smith, M.R., give Myrmica sulcinodoides as the senior synonym, but Myrmica whymperi has priority and hence is senior synonym of Myrmica sulcinodoides and its junior synonym Myrmica frigida: Bolton, 1995b: 284.].
