D. testaceaHNS nov. sp.

[[ worker ]] kaum 1.5 Millim. lang, hell rostgelb, kahl, ohne Glanz, sehr undeutlich, kaum erkennbar, gerunzelt punktirt.

[[ queen ]] weniger als 2 Millim. lang, ebenso gefaerbt mit schwarzen Ocellen und Fluegelansaetzen, Hinterleib schwach glaenzend.

Found most commonly in these habitats: 17 times found in soil & litter at base of Quercus virginiana in chenier woodland, 5 times found in at bases of Pinus spp. In mixed longleaf pine/hardwood forest, 3 times found in Sand Pine Scrub, 3 times found in mixed forest, 3 times found in hardwood/pine forest near Estuary, 3 times found in at base of Pinus taeda on ridge in mixed forest, 3 times found in Black Belt Prairie, 2 times found in litter from bases of trees near sandy parking area, 1 times found in cedar scrub, 2 times found in undulating mixed hardwood/pine forest, ...

Found most commonly in these microhabitats: 3 times ex sifted leaf litter, 2 times soil and litter, 2 times pine litter, 1 times from litter at base of pine tree, 1 times thin leaf mold, 1 times sifted leaf litter, 1 times litter of Quercus champani, 1 times litter and soil.

Collected most commonly using these methods: 28 times Berlese funnel, 5 times Winkler, 3 times Berlese, 1 times Berlese sample, 1 times general collecting, 1 times hand sifting litter, 1 times interception trap, 1 times lindgren funnel trap.

Elevations: collected from 5 - 556 meters, 342 meters average
